This item features an excellent color reproduction of a historic topographic map of Wilmington, DE and surrounding areas as issued by the United States Geologic Survey (USGS). The map is drawn at a scale of 1:250,000, or about four miles to the inch. The area was surveyed in 1946 and this edition printed in 1950, covering 60 minutes of latitude and 120 minutes of longitude. The map print measures approximately 34 by 23 inches, and is printed using inks and paper designed to work together to produce the finest reproductions available. This old topo print includes complete collar information in addition to the mapping data rendered within the map's neat lines.

These hard to find vintage maps are renowned for their detailed portrayal of terrain, places, buildings, roads and other features that have changed dramatically since the map's production. 	We ship most items via USPS Priority mail, carefully rolling your maps and packing them in a standard USPS Priority Shipping Tube. If you prefer alternate shipping methods, please notify us of your preference. Selecting an alternate method may delay your item's arrival. Insurance is optional, but recommended, on all shipments. We will rush ship for Holiday arrival of your items. Please order early to ensure your gifts arrive on time.
